North Kerry Tourism Forum

Welcome to North Kerry

North Kerry Tourism Forum, incorporating North Kerry Heritage Trails, extends a warm and sincere welcome to our visitors from Ireland, across the Irish Sea and from all around the world.

North Kerry encompasses an area from Tarbert to Tralee. It is renowned for its dramatic coastline and safe blue flag beaches which are ideal for bathing, surfing and angling.

Visitors to North Kerry can explore Museums & Interpretive Centres, enjoy peaceful woodland walks or visit prehistoric monuments, early Christian oratories and chapels, monastic sites, a cathedral and abbeys, holy wells, castles and tower houses. The only remaining Kerry round tower can be found at Rattoo near Ballyduff. These are just a few of our many historical and cultural heritage treasures, which pattern a rich agricultural landscape.

There are also numerous indoor and outdoor activities to suit all ages and abilities. Why not sample the best of local produce and cuisine in one of the many hotels, guesthouses, restaurants and bars located throughout the area. Or relax with a drink while enjoying lively traditional Irish music and song.

Whatever you do, a visit to North Kerry will leave you with treasured memories.
